So Wright it can’t be wrong

Born and Bred in the Rainy City, Some people are born to do their job….Sophie Wright’s first childhood memories were of pretending to be a radio presenter (mainly Zoe Ball!) , getting her parents to record shows so she could mime along with them.

Sophie first popped onto the public radar as, rather randomly, a professional Ice skater. Performing, teaching, competing around the globe.

Whilst skating, she started to follow her other passions – DJing and Radio presenting. First joining Manchester’s Unity FM (alongside the likes of Stu Allen & Carl Cox’s syndicated show), then joining the Bauer network.

Sophie went on to present the Friday & Saturday Night Dance shows on The Hits Radio, running weekly from 6-8pm. The show was broadcast on the Bauer City 3 network, syndicated in 13 cities across the UK from Dundee and Glasgow down to Lincolnshire and the Midlands. The show was also available on Freeview, online and throughout the UK on DAB. It also featured guest mixes form the likes of Zedd, Philip George, Tiesto, Blonde, and Sam Feldt to name a few.

Sophie currently presents the Late Night show, Monday-Thursday from 10pm, and Floorfillers Chilled every Friday & Saturday from 10pm across the Bauer City 1 Network. Playing a mix of Deep House, Old School Classics & current hits, it’s the perfect after hours vibe. The show is syndicated on up to 21 FM stations across the UK, including Key 103, Free Radio, Hallam FM, Radio City & Clyde 1 to name a few.

Alongside her radio & DJ work in the UK, Sophie has spent summers flying back and forth to Ibiza, presenting on Ibiza Global Radio & broadcasting Live from Nikki Beach at some of the hottest parties throughout the season.

As a Club DJ, she has played throughout her native Manchester region and travels ‘Wherever the music takes her’! With this year taking her as far as Miami, New York & Dubai. She plays a fusion of feel good, party house music with a real emphasis towards the bigger vocal tracks. Mixing up some killer bootlegs & samples, transporting the crowd giving them exactly what they want, and leaving them hungry for more.
